"DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY"

Owners Chris and Paula Davidson grew up and around construction. Chris' grandfather was a masonry contractor in the St. Louis, Missouri area and Paula's father a general contractor in the Rio Grande Valley. Each having the desire to follow in the footsteps of family, Chris and Paula established Tartan Construction in 2010. Today, each are integral parts of the business and ready to help-out at a moment's notice.

In addition to her work at Tartan Construction, in her free time, Paula also serves as the USAISR Burn Intensive Care Unit Volunteer Coordinator at SAMMC. In 2019 her commitment and service was recognized when she was nominated and awarded the Red Cross Volunteer of the Year Award and the United Way Military Service Volunteer of the Year Award.

Tartan Construction is an experienced Commercial General Contractor and Residential Custom Home Builder, located just outside San Antonio in Castroville, Texas.

Tartan Construction has built a solid reputation for its superior craftsmanship and quality construction. "Doing things the right way" is how we conduct our business along with satisfaction we gain from a job well-done and a happy client that is able to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

An invaluable asset that accompanies the services our office provides, which sets us apart from our competitors, is that we employ and maintain full-time in-house skilled craftsmen, rather than strictly relying upon subcontractors. Our expertise and in-house skilled craftsmen allow us to manage the schedule and quality to again ensure that the work is done the right way from the start.
